The petitioner has challenged the orders passed by the subordinate Authorities disqualifying the petitioner from continuing as the Sarpanch of Gram-panchayat. The petitioner was elected as Sarpanch on 7th September, 2010 and according to the Statute the tenure is of five years. As the tenure of petitioner as Sarpanch of Gram-panchayat is over, the petition is rendered infructuous. It is disposed accordingly.
