This is an application seeking condonation of delay of 771 days in filing First Appeal. The appellant/Insurance company was saddled with the award of compensation of Rs. 63,000/- along with owner and driver of the offending vehicle. The insurance company has stated that due to official exigencies and procedure, inadvertent delay has occurred. It is submitted that connected Appeal arising out of the same accident i.e. First Appeal

For the reasons stated in the application for condonation of delay which has gone unresisted, since the other side is absent despite service, the explanation is accepted, and delay is condoned. Civil Application is accordingly allowed and disposed of. .........
