By way of instant petition, the petitioners have prayed for granting appropriate pay-scale and other consequential benefits. In this regard, they have also moved representations dated 23.04.2025 and 29.06.2025.

It is also case of the petitioners that a similar issue has already been decided by this Court in Writ Petition No.4012 of 2011 (Kamlakar Narayan Barmate and ors. Vs. Chief Engineer and ors.) decided on 12.12.2018, which decision has been affirmed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Special Leave to Appeal (C) No.(s) 24477 of 2019, decided on 12.02.2025.

That being so, we direct the respondent-authority to decide the representations of the petitioners dated dated 23.04.2025 and 29.06.2025, within a period of two weeks from today.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
