DATE : SEPTEMBER 22 , 2017.

The only prayer made in this petition is for a direction to the respondents to decide the application of the petitioner for grant of death parole leave.

Though the father of the petitioner has expired in the month of June and the petitioner has applied for parole leave, the application of the petitioner is not yet decided. Since the prayer made by the petitioner is innocuous, we dispose of the writ petition and direct the respondent no.2 to take a decision on the application of the petitioner within one week and forward the same to the respondent no.1 immediately so that the application of the petitioner could be decided within two weeks from this date. The respondents are directed to decide the application of the petitioner within two weeks, accordingly.
