The petitions seeks a declaration that the Government Resolution (GR) dated 6-7-22 does not apply to the works carried out under the Nagar Parishad Chikhali. By way of interim order dated 29-03-2023, it was directed that the funds which were sanctioned or earmarked for the development work within the jurisdiction of Chikhali Municipal Council shall not lapse nor shall be diverted for any other purpose on the ground that the financial year is over or on any other ground till the petition was heard finally. 3.

Learned AGP has placed on record affidavit in reply on behalf of respondent no.1 in which it is stated that in

2/2 4 the instant matter as the work order was issued on 26-4-22 the GR dated 6-7-22 would not apply.

In view of the statement, the petition is disposed of by directing that the funds which are sanctioned or earmarked for the development works within the jurisdiction of Chakhali Municipal Council shall be utilized for payment of the works done after proper verification.
