Heard Ms. P.P. Chobe, learned counsel (appointed) for the petitioner and Mrs. N.R. Tripathi, learned APP for the respondents.

Perused the reply affidavit.

It is apparent that though there was an order to release the petitioner on furlough, as procedural formalities could not be completed within the stipulated time, the order expired.

In this situation, as there is no adverse report, we direct the respondents to release the petitioner on furlough by completing the necessary formalities within six weeks from today.

Writ Petition is thus partly allowed and disposed of.

The charges of counsel appointed for the petitioner are fixed at Rs.1,500/-.
