The applicants have filed this application for prearrest bail in connection with Crime No.836/2019, dated 25.8.2019 registered with Gadge Nagar Police Station, Amravati for the offence punishable under Sections 498-A, 324 r/w 34 of the Indian Penal code.
The brief facts of the case is that the father of the victim had lodged complaint on 24.8.2019 alleging that his daughter is married with Sarvesh, who is the son of the present applicants on 24.2.2019 and soon after the marriage, the present applicants started harassing and ill-treating his daughter for demand of money and in this manner they used to ill-treat her. The offence came to be registered and the statements of the witnesses were recorded.
The learned advocate for the applicants submitted that the main accused i.e. the husband of the complainant's daughter has been released on bail by the learned magistrate and so far as the present applicants
2 aba633.19.odt are concerned, they are the parents in-law of the victim and no such serious allegations are made against them. The learned APP contended that the investigation is almost completed. He formally opposed the said application.
After hearing both the sides and after considering that the main accused already released on bail by the learned magistrate and considering the nature of allegations against the in-laws of the victim, they are entitled for the pre-arrest bail and the interim relief granted by this court on 20.09.2019 needs to be confirmed. Hence, the following order :
In the event of arrest of the applicants in connection with Crime No.836/2019 registered with Police Station Gadge Nagar, Amravati for the offences punishable under sections 498-A, 324 r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code, they shall be released on bail on their furnishing a P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- each with one or more solvent sureties in the like amount and subject to the conditions that applicants :
(i) shall attend Police Station Gadge Nagar Amravati in connection with the investigation of the said crime as and when required by the investigating officer.
(ii) shall not tamper the witnesses of the prosecution and influence the witnesses.
(iii) shall stay at the address mentioned in the application and shall not change the

Criminal Application stands disposed of.
Criminal Application (APPP) No.1574/2019 The learned advocate for the applicants seeks permission to withdraw this application. Permission granted. Criminal Application stands disposed of as withdrawn.
