Heard learned counsel for petitioners.

According to learned counsel for petitioners, the benefit of R and R policy, more particularly, regarding granting employment was rejected on the ground that petitioner No. 2 is a married daughter of petitioner No.1. Learned counsel Mr. Meghe, has invited our attention to communication dated 23.6.2024 by which employment was not granted to petitioner No.2. 3.

Be that as it may, the issue is no more res integra since Mr. Meghe has invited our attention to communication dated 16.11.2021, issued by Deputy General Manager, Western Coalfields Limited which clarifies that even married daughter would be entitled for grant of employment under R and R policy. 4.

In view thereof, we direct respondent No.1 to consider the case of petitioner No.2, more particularly, in light of communication dated 16.11.2021, within eight weeks from today. Respondent no.1 shall also consider the grounds raised in the present petition while deciding the entitlement of petitioner No.2. Learned counsel for petitioners undertakes to produce copy of present petition along with order passed today before respondent No.1, within two weeks from today. Petition is disposed of accordingly.
