The applicant has filed appeal against the conviction. He was convicted for the offence punishable under Sections 353 and 324 of the Indian Penal Code and sentenced to suffer simple imprisonment for period of six months and four months respectively and fine of Rs. One thousand.

The learned counsel for the applicant has prayed that the learned trial Court has suspended the sentence and granted bail till filing of appeal. As the appeal is filed, it is not possible to hear the appeal in near future, hence, substantive sentence is suspended during the pendency of appeal and the applicant be released on bail
