The only prayer made by the petitioners in this writ petition is for a direction against the respondent no.3-Director of Municipal Administration to consider the proposal for granting sanction to the absorption of the petitioners in the posts on which they were working for past several years. It is stated that though the Collector has recommended the cases of the petitioners, the respondent no.3-Director of Municipal Administration has not taken a decision on the proposal.

Since the prayer made on behalf of the petitioners is innocuous, we dispose of the writ petition, with a direction against the respondent no.3-Director of Municipal Administration to decide the proposal for granting sanction to the absorption of the petitioners, as early as possible and positively within four months. Order accordingly. No costs.
