DATED : 15 th March, 2016 Heard Shri B.G. Kulkarni, learned counsel for the petitioners, Shri Mishra in person representing respondent no. 4, Advocate Wakode for respondent no. 3 and learned A.G.P. for respondent nos. 1 & 2.
This Court had on 15.2.2016 after hearing respective counsel directed respondent no.4 to accept and process examination forms of petitioners without insisting for payment of examination fees and to submit the same to respondent no. 3 University. The respondent no.3 University was asked to further process the forms so as to enable the petitioner students to appear for examination. Shri Kulkarni informs that these steps have accordingly been taken.
He further invites attention to reply filed on behalf of respondent nos. 1 & 2 to demonstrate that if respondent no. 4 forwards the forms for scholarships of petitioners to respondent no.2, the respondent no. 2 can complete scrutiny
wp6030-15.odt and take necessary decision of release of scholarship amount. Shri Mishra submits that he has submitted necessary forms on 2nd March, 2016. He is relying upon reply affidavit and document Annexure A-21 filed therewith to support his contention.
Learned A.G.P. submits that she has no instructions on this later development. However, forms are required to be submitted on-line initially followed by hard copy. Shri Mishra submits that even hard copy has been sent to respondent no.2. In view of the statement made by respondent no. 4 we direct respondent no. 2 to proceed further to verify those scholarship forms of respective students in accordance with law and to complete the scrutiny at the earliest. After completion of scrutiny, the scholarship amount in relation to eligible students shall be released in accordance with law. The above process be completed within two months. With these directions, we dispose of the petition. No costs.
