Mr. A.Z. Jibhkate, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners has invited our attention to the communication issued by the State Government dated 25th August, 2023.

According to him, the State Government has admitted its mistake of not showing one sanctioned post in the group sanction and accordingly instructions were issued to carry out corrections.

Mr. A. Kapgate, learned Counsel appearing for respondent No.4 submits that in view of aforesaid directions, corrective measures have already been taken.

In view of above, nothing survives in the petition. The petition stands disposed of. Pending application also stands disposed of.

As far as payment of arrears of salary is concerned, if the bills to that effect are submitted by the management, we expect the respondent No.4 to take decision on the same expeditiously keeping in view the directions issued in the communication dated 25th August, 2023.
