The applicant is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Crime No. 501/2022 registered with Police Station, Samudrapur, District Wardha for the offence punishable under Section 409 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

In this case, the allegations are that the applicant is illegally deposited the Pension amount in the account of third person and thereby misused his position as Block Development Officer, during the period when he was in service. 4.

After going through the case-diary and on perusal of it, prima-facie, there is sufficient incriminating material to connect the applicant with the alleged offence. In that view of the matter, I am of the opinion that in this case the custodial interrogation is required, as submitted by the learned APP. In these circumstances, I am not inclined to allow the present application. Accordingly, I pass the following order:

The criminal application is rejected.
