By this criminal writ petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to release the petitioner on parole leave.

There is a gross delay in approaching this Court for seeking the parole leave. If the petitioner's father was not well in the year 2015 and the petitioner had sought for parole leave, the said cause would not survive in the year 2017. If a fresh cause of action arises and the petitioner is desirous of seeking parole leave, the petitioner is free to apply with the recent medical reports, in respect of the father of the petitioner.

With the aforesaid liberty, we dispose of the criminal writ petition with no order as to costs. The professional fees of the counsel for the petitioner are quantified at Rs.1,500/-.

Order accordingly.
