Heard.
The petitioner-student seeks continuation of protection in respect of his education and direction to respondent No.1-Scrutiny Committee to expedite verification of his caste claim. Learned counsel Shri P.P. Dhok for the petitioner points out that blood relatives have been given validity as persons belonging to "Mana" Scheduled Tribe. Learned Assistant Government Pleader Shri S.B. Bissa for the respondents does not dispute pendency of caste claim.
This Court has, while issuing notice in the matter on 27.10.2015, protected education of the petitioner.

wp5965.15 In view of this, we continue that protection, till caste claim is looked into by respondent No.1-Scrutiny Committee.
We direct respondent No.1-Scrutiny Committee to expedite verification of caste claim and complete it at the earliest and in any case within a period of one year after the date of communication of this order to it. We direct the petitioner to appear before respondent No.1-Scrutiny Committee on 4.8.2016 and abide by its further instructions in the matter. The interim protection shall continue, till respondent No.1-Scrutiny Committee passes final orders on caste verification and shall be subject to it. The writ petition is thus partly allowed and disposed of. No costs.
