Shri Kshirsagar, the learned Counsel for the petitioner states that the cause for filing the writ petition has been rendered infructuous as the respondent no.3 has been declared elected as a Member of the Gram Panchayat as he was the only contestant for the said post.
In view of the statement made by the learned Counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of with no order as to costs.
