Heard the learned counsel Mr. Ateeque for the petitioner, learned AGP Mrs. Deshpande for respondents 1 and 2, the learned counsel Mr. Khobragade for respondents 3 and 4 and the learned counsel Mr. Bhake for respondent 5.

The grievance of the petitioner is that though the name of the petitioner is in select list of the promotion for the post of Deputy Education Officer, he was not yet promoted.

Respondent 2 has filed an affidavit and informed that the name of the petitioner is considered and forwarded to the respondent 1. As soon as they receive the approval from respondent 1, the action will be taken by the respondent 2.

Our attention is invited to order dated 7th February, 2023 rendered by the Coordinate Bench at Aurangabad (Coram: Ravindra V. Ghuge and Sanjay A. Deshmukh, JJ).

Respondent 1 shall consider the recommendatory proposal forwarded by respondent 2-Commissioner, Education Commissionerate, Maharashtra State, Pune and pass appropriate order within the next four weeks. 6.
