Heard.

Mrs. Bharti Dangre, learned counsel, has invited our attention to Civil Application No.3520 of 2014.

She submits that inadvertently second set has not been supplied and it is to be placed on record during the course of the day.

The statement is accepted.

Shri Khare, learned counsel, has invited our attention to order dated 25.2.2014 and later orders passed by this Court. He submits .....2/-

that till date, the caste claim of the petitioner has not been decided. He points out that in Civil Application No.3520 of 2014, though the difficulty on account of absence of Coram is pointed out, several matters have been decided in the meanwhile.

The position disclosed in affidavit, about vacancies, cannot be stated to be incorrect. This Court has already protected the education of the petitioner by passing suitable interim orders, those interim orders are sill continuing.

Shri Khare, learned counsel, in this background, requests the Court to keep the matter pending instead of disposing of the same. However, the matter has been pending before this Court for about two years and this Court has already protected the education of the petitioner.

After considering reasons disclosed in Civil Application No.3520 of 2014, we direct respondent No.1 - Scrutiny Committee to pass final orders in any case and preferably within a period of six months as prayed for therein.

With these directions and continuing .....3/-

interim orders, already granted to the petitioner till such adjudication, we dispose of the writ petition. No order as to costs.

The copy of this order be forwarded to the Chief Secretary, State of Maharashtra.
