DATED : 13/03/2023 The petitioner, who was appointed as Peon with Gram Panchayat, Kinhi, is aggrieved by the order of removal dated 07.10.2016. The services of the petitioner have been put to an end after holding an Enquiry. We find that against the order of removal, the petitioner can avail statutory remedy as provided under the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act, 1959.

With liberty to the petitioner to avail such remedy in accordance with law, the writ petition is not entertained. It is accordingly disposed of.

All points raised in the writ petition are kept open. 4.

It is also noted that this writ petition was filed on 19.09.2017. If the statutory remedy is availed within a period of four weeks from today, time spent in prosecuting this writ petition shall be taken into consideration on the aspect of delay.
