This is an application for early hearing of the appeal.

Heard learned counsel Shri N.G. Jetha for the applicant and learned counsel Shri Ranjit Singh for the respondent.

The appeal is against acquittal of offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act. The jail appeals are already pending before this Court arising out of various sections of the Indian Penal Code in which accused are on bail since year 2007. There is no urgency in the matter. 4.
In that view of the matter, the application is rejected with liberty to learned counsel Shri N.G. Jetha for the applicant to file an application for grant of early .....2/-
