By this application, the applicants are seeking leave to continue with the appeal.

The appellant passed away on 05.07.2023. The death certificate of the appellant is placed on record. The applicants, who are widow and daughter of the deceased, being legal representatives wish to continue with the appeal since the appeal against conviction under the provisions of Prevention of Corruption Act is outcome for service benefits of the deceased, which were held up due to conviction.

In view of above and for the reasons stated in the application, the same is allowed. The applicants are permitted to continue with the appeal. The name of deceased be replaced with the names of the applicants. The correction be carried out within two weeks.
