DATED : 03 -10-2024 Though, the principal relief sought in the petition is for quashing and setting aside declaration of election published by the Tahsildar, Amravati on 25.9.2023, the learned Counsel for the petitioner would like to restrict his prayer to clause (ii), at this stage. 2.

We have no hesitancy in granting this relief and therefore, rule is made absolute in term of prayer clause (ii), which reads thus: (ii) By way of appropriate writ, order or direction, direct the respondent Nos. 1 and 2 to decide the representation given by the members/petitioner for appointment of Upsarpanch dated 23.9.2024 in a time frame manner. 3.

We expect the representation preferred by the members/the petitioner dated 23.9.2024 to be decided within a period of six weeks from today.

The petition stands disposed of.
