The victim, who was a minor girl of sixteen years, would have been ravished; but for raising of shouts by her, the neighbours arrived and rescued her. The offence is serious. No relief of anticipatory bail can be extended in such cases.
In the circumstances, Criminal Application [ABA] No. 570 of 2015 is rejected.
Interim order is vacated.
