By this writ petition, the petitioner seeks a direction against the respondents to admit the petitioner in the M.B.B.S. degree course in the respondent No.4-College.

We are not inclined to consider granting the relief sought by the petitioner in exercise of the writ jurisdiction, as the cut-off date for granting admission to the students has expired long back. It is informed to this court by the learned Government Pleader that the cutoff date for the admission to the medical course was 30/09/2016. Also, it is pointed out that the petitioner has not joined the candidates that have secured lower marks than the petitioner and are admitted to the medical course by depriving admission to the petitioner. Since all the admissions to the medical course are made before 30/09/2016 and since the petitioner has not joined the necessary parties to the writ petition, the petition is liable to be dismissed. We dismiss the writ petition with no order as to costs. JUDGE JUDGE KHUNTE
