Coram : R.K. Deshpande & Mrs. Swapna Joshi, JJ. Date : 29 th September, 2017 Heard the learned counsels appearing for the parties. In para 7 of the judgment and order passed in Writ Petition No.72 of 2001 and Writ Petition No.881 of 1998 on
22-6-2017, this Court has issued the direction to the respondent- Divisional Caste Certificate Verification Committee, Amravati Division, Amravati, to issue separate validity certificates in the name of both the petitioners, certifying that their claim for "Rajput Bhamta - Vimukta Jati" is held to be valid and correct. The further direction is also given to issue certificates within a period of two months from the date of first appearance of the petitioners before the Scrutiny Committee.
In the applications, it is pointed out that in view of the change in the policy decision by the Government Resolution dated 21-11-2016, it is the District Caste Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Buldana, which will have the jurisdiction to issue the validity certificates to the petitioners in terms of the order dated 22-6-2017 passed by this Court.
In view of above, the directions issued by this Court in the judgment and order dated 22-6-2017 passed in Writ Petition No.72 of 2001 and Writ Petition No.881 of 1998 be construed as the directions to the District Caste Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Buldana. The said Committee to issue the caste validity certificates, as contemplated in the aforesaid judgment and order, to the petitioners within a period of two months from the date of first appearance of the petitioners before it. The petitioners to appear before the said Committee on
6-10-2017.
