The petitioner has filed this contempt petition making grievance about non-compliance of directions given by this Court by the judgment given in Writ Petition No.5354/2000 on 31-03-2015 regarding payment of backwages.

Now the directions are complied with and the cheque for the amount receivable by the petitioner is given to the petitioner. The learned Advocate for the petitioner states that the grievance of the petitioner does not survive.

Considering the explanation given in the written submissions filed by the respondent No.1 and the fact that now the grievance of the petitioner does not survive,

2 cp325.15 in my view, further action is not required. Notice of contempt is discharged.

The contempt petition is disposed. In the circumstances, the parties to bear their own costs. JUDGE adgokar
