The proposed amendment is very cumbersome. It merely reproduces several provisions of the Constitution of India without making a reference as to why they are incorporated in the proposed amendment. Some of the prayers made in the proposed amendment would change the cause of action for filing the writ petition as in the writ petition, the petitioner is only seeking the provident fund, pro-rata pension and the other retiral benefits. The learned counsel for the respondents have opposed the prayers made in the application and have stated that the amendment application is not made appropriately. The petitioner is, therefore, granted liberty to withdraw this application with liberty to file an appropriate application. The civil application stands disposed of. JUDGE JUDGE APTE
