Bhangde, the learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the petitioner is restricting its claim in the petition for direction to respondent no.2 to decide its application for renewal of lease within a stipulated period. Taking into consideration the innocuous nature of the prayer, we dispose of the petition with a direction to respondent no.2 to decide the application of the petitioner for renewal of lease on its own merits as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of eight weeks from today.
