The applicant has apprehension of arrest in Crime No.585/2025 registered with Police Station Pandharkawada, District Yavatmal for the offences punishable under Sections 316(2), 318(4) read with Section 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. 3.

The allegations are made against this applicant that one Shrikant Ganpat Karlawar lodged the oral report that on 18.03.2025 when he was standing at the bus stop, he met with one Mayur Chauhan. He stated that he is doing work of employment guarantee and that his maternal uncle is working as a Contractor. He further stated that he receives money and guaranteed employment. Complainant said to him that he is in need of such employment. Mayur and his maternal uncle induced him into opening a bank account by giving false promise and assurance to receive employment. Relying on the words of promise and assurance of co-accused Mayur Chauhan, he opened his bank account in Bank of Maharashtra and Mayur aided him for that and they

2 8.aba.688.25 further took his pass book along with ATM Card. Complainant came to know that his account has been misused by them for illegal economic gain. He came to know about major transaction in his account. The 15 other village persons from the same village were cheated and the crime is registered.

The applicant's role is that, he is the maternal uncle of co-accused and only on his say, the Bank account was opened.

Considering the role of this applicant and as the applicant is attending the Police Station regularly, interim protection granted on 15.09.2025 is confirmed on the same terms and conditions excluding the condition of attending the Police Station.
