DATE : 11/01/2018 By this contempt petition, the petitioners have sought action against the respondent under the Contempt of Courts Act in view of the alleged wilful disobedience of the directions in the order dated 28/7/2017.

It is stated on behalf of the petitioners that though this Court had directed the respondent to decide the representation of the petitioners within one week, the representation was not decided.

It appears from the affidavit-in-reply filed on behalf of the respondent that a little belatedly the representation of the petitioners was decided and the same was rejected. If that is so, it would not be proper to proceed against the respondent under the

1101cp231.17.odt provisions of the Contempt of Courts Act. If the petitioners are aggrieved by the rejection of their representation, they have other remedies.

The contempt petition is disposed of with no order as to costs JUDGE JUDGE Wadkar
