The only relief sought by the petitioner is for expeditious consideration of her tribe claim which is pending with the Scrutiny Committee. It is submitted that the vigilance enquiry has been concluded and report of the vigilance cell has been supplied to the petitioner. The petitioner has also submitted her reply to the said report. Learned counsel for the petitioner, however, submits that the petitioner was admitted on a seat that was reserved for a Scheduled Tribe candidate and as per the State Common Entrance Test Cell if the validity certificate is not submitted by 28.11.2022, the admission would get cancelled and the petitioner would be treated as an open category candidate.

In view of the aforesaid facts and as the vigilance

WP.7188.22 enquiry has been completed, the Scrutiny Committee is directed to decide the petitioner's tribe claim within a period of eight weeks of the petitioner's appearance before the said Committee. The petitioner shall appear before the Scrutiny Committee on 1st December, 2022. It is made clear that the petitioner as well as the respondent no.4 shall act in accordance with the communication dated 09.11.2022 issued by the respondent no.4 to the petitioner. Needless to state that if the petitioner is granted validity certificate she has free to take all permissible steps to secure the benefits that are admissible on account of grant of such validity. With the above directions, writ petition is disposed of.
