1.
The petitioner alleges the contempt of order passed in Writ Petition No.2396 of 2017 dated 19th July, 2017, whereby this Court directed respondent no. 2 to process the request of petitioner for renewal of his passport as per law, in four weeks. After passing of this order, the passport of the petitioner was renewed on 28.05.2018 upto 27.05.2019. The petitioner alleges that the Police Authorities are repeatedly giving adverse report because of which, his passport is renewed only for a period of one year.

As the passport of petitioner was renewed on 28.05.2018, the direction of this Court dated 19.07.2017 was duly complied with. No case of contempt is therefore made out by the petitioner.
3.
In view of the compliance of the order, the contempt petition is disposed of.
4.
If the petitioner has any grievance with his passport renewed only for a period of one year, he may approach the appropriate forum as per law.
