DATE : 29.03.2016.

Shri Joshi, the learned counsel for the petitioner, states that though a couple of prayers are made by the petitioner in the instant petition, the grievance of the petitioner would stand redressed at this stage, if this Court directs the Block Development Officer to decide the appeal filed by the petitioner against the order, dated 01/08/2015. It is stated that the petitioner has filed an appeal against the order, dated 01/08/2015 under the provisions of Section 61(1) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act, 1958. Since the prayer made by the petitioner is innocuous, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent No.4Block Development Officer to decide the appeal filed by the petitioner as early as possible and positively within a period of three months, after hearing the petitioner and the Gram Panchayat. No costs. JUDGE JUDGE KHUNTE
