The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that earlier the petitioners had filed Writ Petition No.1658/2020. The petitioners withdrew the said writ petition with liberty to approach the Competent Authority for settlement of dispute under Section 10 of the Maharashtra Agricultural Produce Marketing (Development and Regulation) (Second Amendment) Act, 2018. The petitioners approached the said Authority however, the petitioner Nos.1, 2 and 3 have not been yet paid the amount.

The petitioners appear to have filed an application on 01/03/2021 before the Sub-Committee constituted under Section 10 of the Maharashtra Agriculture Produce Marketing (Development and Regulation) Act, 1963.

In view of aforesaid, the Sub-Committee/Committee constituted under Section 10 of the Act of 1963 shall take a decision on the application of the petitioners for payment of agriculture produce viz. Harbhara and Tur expeditiously and preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of this order.

Writ petition is disposed of in aforesaid terms with no order as to costs.
