DATE : 08.06.2016 Shri Sheikh, the learned Counsel for the petitioner states that since the petitioner is not in service as on date, the petitioner would not be entitled to exemption from appearing in the NET/SET though he has secured the M.Phil. qualification before the cut off date i.e. 11.7.2009. It is stated that the petitioner would approach this Court as and when the petitioner is selected and appointed in some other College. The learned Counsel seeks permission to withdraw the writ petition, in this background.

Permission to withdraw the writ petition is granted. The writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn. The points raised in the petition are kept open.
