Writ Petition Nos. 7278 of 2022 and 334 of 2023 are not on Board. These writ petitions are taken on Board.

The petitioners are working as Assistant Primary Teachers with various Zilla Parishads. They seek resolution of their grievances with regard to payfixation at the Senior Pay Scale level in accordance with the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a similar issue was considered at the Aurangabad Bench in Writ Petition No. 11518 of 2022 [Mahesh Sundarrao Deshmukh & Others Versus The State of Maharashtra through Secretary & Others] alongwith connected writ petitions that were decided on 10.02.2023. The statement made on behalf of the State Government with regard to constitution of the Anomalies Committee came to be accepted and the petitioners were directed to approach the said Committee with aforesaid grievance. The aforesaid order has been subsequently followed at the Principal Seat in Writ Petition No. 2478 of 2023 [Ranjit Sambhaji Thite & Others Versus The State of Maharashtra Through Secretary Finance Department & Others] alongwith connected writ petitions that were decided on 08.03.2023.

In view of aforesaid orders, the petitioners are at liberty to approach the Anomalies Committee by making appropriate representations raising their grievance. If such representations are made, the Committee shall consider the same and take a decision in accordance with law within a period of six months from the date of making such representations. 5.
