The applicants are seeking ad-interim bail in connection with Crime No. 636 of 2022 registered with Police Station Anjangaon, District Amravati for the offences punishable under Sections 304-B, 306 and 498-A read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code,1860.

In this case, the applicants are the mother-in-law and father-in-law of the deceased. The allegations are that, there was a continuous demand of dowry and ill-treatment to the deceased, due to which she committed suicide. 4.

The accused No.1 husband of the deceased was arrested and he was released on regular bail. 5.

After going through the allegations made in the FIR, it can be seen that the allegations are of general nature. Furthermore, the complaint was lodged to the Police after five days of the incident.

Thus, considering the nature of allegations and the delay in lodging the FIR, coupled with the fact that, if the applicants are released on bail, there is no possibility that they will not be available for trial, I am of the opinion that, the applicants are entitled for grant of ad-interim bail. Accordingly, I pass the following order:

a) The criminal application is allowed.

b) The order granting ad interim anticipatory bail dated 21/11/2022, is hereby confirmed.

c) The applicants shall attend the concerned Police Station as and when their presence is required.
