The applicant has apprehension of arrest in connection with Crime No.284/2025 registered with Police Station Akot, District Akola for the offences punishable under Sections 91, 318(4), 319(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 Sections 18(c), 18A and 22 of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and Section 5 of the Medicals Termination of Pregnancy Act, 1971.

It is the case of the prosecution that on receiving the information about illegal sale of abortion pills in Taori Medical Store, raid was conducted.

The learned Counsel for the applicant has stated that the applicant is attending the concerned Police Station regularly.

The learned A.P.P. conceded that the applicant is cooperating the investigation.

Considering the allegations made against this applicant and the reasons given while granting interim protection, the interim protection granted on 15.09.2025 is confirmed on the same terms and conditions.
