DATE : APRIL 21, 2015 Prayer is to condone the delay in filing the first appeal. Reasons are mentioned in paragraph 2 of the application. Though application is opposed on behalf of the respondents, it is further stated that in case delay is condoned, the applicant may not be granted interest on the enhanced compensation for the period of delay. For reasons stated in the application, the delay in filing the first appeal stands condoned. However, the applicant will not be entitled for interest on the amount of enhanced compensation for the period from 01/03/2013 till today. C.A. is allowed and disposed of.
