The grievance of the petitioner in the instant Contempt Petition is that the order passed by this Court on 03/07/2019 in Writ Petition No. 8264/2018 has not been complied with by the respondents, and thereby committed contempt of Court. For ready reference, para 5 of the said order is reproduced below :

"5. XXXX Respondent no. 2 is directed to grant application of the petitioner for becoming member of the Provident Fund Scheme under the Maharashtra General Provident Fund Rules by opening account in his name with effect from 1st July 2019."

Today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the aforesaid order has been duly complied with, and an online G.P.F. account of the petitioner under the Provident Fund Scheme bearing number 13787 has been opened on 04/02/2021. An affidavit to that extent is also submitted by the learned A.G.P.

In this view of the matter, nothing further remains to be adjudicated upon in the instant Contempt Petition. The same is disposed of accordingly.
