The petitioners who have retired on 30th June of the respective years seek benefit of increment that becomes due on 1st July of the said year. Reliance is placed by the learned counsel for the petitioners on the decision in Pandurang Vithobaji Dhumne & Others Versus The State of Maharashtra & Others [Writ Petition No. 5864/2019] decided on 02.03.2022. Issue notice to the respondents returnable in four weeks. Learned Additional Government Pleader Shri A.S. Fulzele waives service of notice for the respondent nos.1 and 2.
