In view of the law laid down by the Division Bench judgment of this Court in the matter of Raju @ Mukesh Poonamchand Patel vs. Divisional Commissioner, Amravati and another in Criminal Writ Petition No.379/2024 with connected matters, decided on 14.10.2024, the order impugned is quashed and set aside with directions to the respondents to re-consider the claim of the petitioner in the light of the decision in Raju @ Mukesh Patel (supra).

Let the decision be communicated to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from today.
