DATED : 13/11/2019 Learned Additional Public Prosecutor has pointed out that the impugned order is appealable under Section 60 of the Maharashtra Police Act, 1951 and, now the remedy is efficacious and convenient to the petitioner as the appeal is provided before the Divisional Commissioner.

As the petitioner has alternate efficacious remedy available, we are not inclined to entertain this petition. The Criminal Writ Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to avail alternate remedy.
