DATED : 24-10-2016 By the order passed on 01-04-2015, this Court stayed the execution proceedings on condition that the appellant shall deposit the amount as per the impugned award with the registry of this Court within ten weeks. The appellant has not deposited the amount within stipulated time and has now filed this application seeking permission to deposit the amount.

The Tribunal has directed that the amount of compensation shall carry interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of filing of claim petition before the Tribunal till realisation of the amount. On query, the learned Advocate for the appellant/Insurance Company states that if the interest is not calculated till date, the balance amount will be deposited.

2 caf3526.16 Accepting the submission, the appellant is permitted to deposit the amount, if deposited till 27-10-2016. If the amount calculating the interest till 27-10-2016 is not deposited till 27-10-2016, the appeal shall stand dismissed without reference to the Court. JUDGE adgokar
