The petitioner seeks direction of this Court to the respondents to grant family pension to the petitioner with effect from 04/08/2022 i.e. the date of death of the mother of the petitioner and to pay the arrears thereof with interest at the rate of 18% per annum.

An alternate prayer is for direction to the respondents to decide the pending representation of the petitioner dated 23/11/2022 (Annexure-8 page 24 of the petition) within prescribed time limit. 4.

Shri N. R. Kanungo, learned counsel for the petitioner makes a statement that the aforesaid representation is not yet decided by the respondents.

In view of above, the grievance of the petitioner can be redressed with a direction to respondent No.3-The Divisional Railway Manager, Bhusawal Division, Central Railway, Bhusawal to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 23/11/2022 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

The decision taken on the representation shall be communicated to the petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter. 7.
