DATE : 01.12.2016 By this petition, the petitioner challenges the order of the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Buldhana, dated 6.10.2016, reverting the petitioner to the post of Health Assistant. We are not inclined to entertain the writ petition, in view of the existence of an alternate efficacious remedy. The order of reversion can be effectively and efficaciously challenged by the petitioner in an appeal under Rule 14 of the Maharashtra Zilla Parishad, District Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1964. Instead of availing the alternate efficacious remedy, the petitioner has rushed to this Court.

In the circumstances of the case, we dismiss the writ petition with no order as to costs. The points raised in the petition are kept open.
