The Petitioners seek to challenge the rejection of objection as raised to the provisional voters list. The order was passed on 19.10.2022. In the meanwhile, the final voters list has been published. Thereafter the State Election Commission has on 09.11.2022 declared the elections for various Gram Panchayats in the State of Maharashtra. As per Annexure-I to that communication, the election process has commenced with filing of nomination from 28.11.2022. In view of the fact that the election process is set in motion, we are not inclined to interfere in writ jurisdiction. The Petitioner is at liberty to avail the appropriate remedy after declaration of the results. Keeping all the points raised in the petition open, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
