We have perused the communication issued by the two teachers who are claiming to be senior to the petitioner whereby giving up their claim of for the post of Education Officer. 3.

In the light of aforesaid communication dated 7.12.2023 issued by Mr. Maroti Baburao Sonone and Mrs. Vaishali Avinash Kurhekar who are working as Headmaster or Headmistress in the school of Corporation.

It is the case of the petitioner that he being in-charge Education Officer should be conferred the full time charge of said post by giving him permanent posting.

We are sensitive to the fact that petitioner cannot claim such relief as of right, however, he has every right to lodge claim for consideration of his candidature for such post. 6.

In the aforesaid factual background, we are of the view that the petition can conveniently be disposed of by directing respondents Corporation to consider the claim of the petitioner for regular posting him as Education Officer in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.
