DATE : JANUARY 14, 2015 On instructions, learned counsel for the applicant, submits that he would like to avail of the alternate remedy either by applying for discharge or going for trial. He submits that there are only three witnesses cited by the prosecution. The applicant is a senior citizen. We find that the request made by the applicant is fair enough. Hence we pass the following order:

ORDER

(i) Criminal Application No. 721/2014 is disposed of as withdrawn.

(ii) Liberty is granted in favour of the applicant to avail of such other alternate remedy, as is available in law. (iii) The trial court is directed to complete the trial within six months from today.
