DATE : OCTOBER 27, 2016 A communication dated 23.10.2016 addressed by Tahsildar, Yavatmal to the Chief Officer, Muncipal Council, Yavatmal stating therein that Chapdoh village is included in the constituency of Zilla Parishad/Panchayat Samiti, is placed on record by the learned A.G.P. In the said communication, a direction is issued for deleting the names of the villagers from the electoral roll of the Municipal Council, Yavatmal.
Mr. Kale, learned counsel for the Municipal Council, Yavatmal states that the names of the villagers from Chapdoh village have been deleted from the electoral roll of the Municipal Council, Yavatmal.
In that view of the matter, the petition has served its purpose. The same is, therefore, disposed of. No order as to costs.
